Home - Breadcrumbs From Sarah's Table
Welcome
Welcome to Breadcrumbs From Sarah’s Table, a website dedicated to the five bands that you’ll find links for on the left. These bands (Even As We Speak, The Field Mice, The Occasional Keepers, The Orchids and The Wake) passed through the doors of Sarah Records back in the heady, magical and much missed days of the late 80’s/early 90’s when, I expect, it was the springtime of our lives, and this music became a soundtrack to the days of awakening. Of course, The Occasional Keepers only released material at least 10 years after Sarah Records sadly folded but, as they are the (colloquially known) ‘Sarah super-group’, they gain entry here with a free ticket, popcorn and drink (and ‘cos they’re that good – True North is exceptional).
The Wake - Latest NewsHere's a link about The Wake's new (at long last) 8 track album A Light Far Out. It's released on 7 May 2012 by LTM. Can't wait!
I also found a 12 minute video of an interview by Jacob Graham of The Drums with Caesar and Carolyn. It's a bit hard to hear in places but worth a listen. It says Part 1, so when I find Part 2, I'll post a link :) |
EAWS - Latest NewsWell, I never thought I'd ever be updating this news section for EAWS, but here I am, tapping away on a cold autumn evening here in the North West of England announcing the 'possible' recording of a new album. Mary has been in contact to say as much so, hopefully in the new year (they're talking about it). Fingers crossed :) |
